(you had me at hello)

Is it my second post for the day? =\ whatever, it doesn't really matter anyway. I'm so freaking tired. Slept at 2 yesterday night, and woke up at 8 in the morning. Had to help out in the Annual Charity Luncheon For The Old and Destitute. My dad's company and liu shu ( sixth uncles's ) Yin Gah Temple worked together to organize this event to shower some care and laughter for the elderly. =) A rather meaningful event i would say.

The old folks arrived earlier than expected, so we were kinda caught off guard. BUT but, we didn't switch on the "Panick Button". LOL. As usual la, must go help to support the ah ma(s) and ah gong(s) and so on. We were kept really busy for the whole morning and afternoon. Steven and tenn came to help out! =))

The old folks did enjoy themselves a lot, for they were like standing up, dancing and suaying along with the music. sheesh! Oh ya! METTA HOME came too. THe kids there put up a dance performance. It was really hilarious la, they seemed as though they've eaten some drugs or smth. =/ I feel great! cause i've done a good deed. They enjoyed themselves as much as i do.

We even celebrated one ah ma's 100th birthday. It's a pity, that the other 105 yrs old and 104 yrs old ah ma(s) can't come for the event, or they'll be the highlight of that event. heh. Nevertheless, it was still wonderful. The cake was ENORMOUSLY HUGE. It's like twice the length and 4/3 the width of our school table!! o.O stunned. 300 old folks + voluteers + organizers = MANY MANY PEOPLE! hahaha..

Aft the event, we stayed back for the dunno what procession. Definitely not Chingay Procession of course. It's to let the gods go tour de Singapore or smth? Not really sure of it though. I think those who are buddhist would know who is (dua ah pek ; ji ah pek ; san ah pek ) eh? Sometimes, i really find all these very interesting! Like christians, they have the believings of the bible, then buddhist, they have the believe of hell, cause and effect and bla bla bla.

I stayed to see how uncle Kelvin's soul left his body and in turn, got posessed by ( ji ah pek ). A total of 9 gods were down for the parade. It is said that the three gods were in charge of taking care of the hell, apart from Ye Men Wang and Niu Tou Ma Mian of course. Dua ah pek is dressed in white, and he hanged himself, that's why he's got a long tongue sticking out. Ji ah pek is hot tempered, dressed in black and he smokes. San ah pek is the youngest and he always carries his abacus with him. He's in yellow.

Actually, i don't really believe in such stuffs like ghost, hell and gods, but i've witnessed my relative communicating with the dead directly. My late grandmother for example. It can be pretty amazing and almost unexplainable. I've even accepted the fact that souls and ghosts do exist, cause i've encountered them before. Yes, my grandmother came back on the night she died, and on the 7th day, after her wake. It's hard to believe, but real life experience can't be fake, can it? =/

I think i've talked too much. and LEE SIEW TING!! i'm so jealous can!! stop tempting me with your GRAND BABY PIANO!! kuku malu, spank you KILL you!! Did i mention i saw JOSHUA LESTER LEE today?! OMG! the once toot toot guy .. now become so matured and handsomey! But ah, forget it la, you can never beat my lameness. You definitely don't rock !! =p Kill me for all you want. =)
