Okay, wondering why am i able to blog at this particular time of the day? Yes, i took a day off from work. I think i need it badly i guess. The inner turmoil is killing me, so i diverted my attention to piano. I aimed to learn the Mendelssohn piece, ( Scherzo in E minor ) by this week. A little challenging, but whatever. I don't care.

A lot of people have been coming up to me to ask if i'm going abroad. Here's the deal, YES, i am pursuing my college and university overseas, particularly Australia, Melbourne. Will be studying in Trinity College, and taking up the Foundation Course first before entering Melbourne Uni. The whole duration of the course ; 5-6 years. For your interest, i'll be taking up Law/Commerce as my major core. Ching taking Law/Arts i think? Anw, it's still Law. I enjoy debating, talking and arguing, so..

In order to study Law in Singapore, i have to wait till like Uni? As if i can enter Singapore's Uni, well, i don't know. But, since i'm offered the opportunity to study abroad, i think i've decided the path to go, and perhaps, moulding my future bit by bit. From IDP's ( Australian Embassy in Singapore ) description of the difference between Australia's education from Singapore's, i thought i'm more suited to Aus's way of studying. At least, they do not make us study and memorize every single detail in the book, and expect us to verbally vomit out what's been learnt. Their education requires more individual thinking, creativity, self understanding, applications, and everything else except DU SI SHU.

A little more insight to the full course i'll be taking. English, Literature in English and History of Ideas are the compulsory subjects needed. Then, from various other subjects, i choose three as electives beside Law/Commerce - Mathematics, Accounts and Psychology. =) They even included Drama as one of the most impt aspect in their education. So much difference from our local education system, isn't it? But i will have to work really hard, cos i only have 1 yr of college when it's supposedly 2 yrs. That's why it's called Foundation
Studies right? ERR, no link? -_-"

Anyway, I'll be residing in Palmerston House. Will post the address and details later on when it's confirmed though. RMB TO WRITE TO MEEEE !! It's a boarding school i'm attending, so yeah, I have 2 guardians namely, Bruce and Sue Wong. On top of that, I'll be having a wonderful roomate. It's hard living alone w/o my family or friends with me. It'll be a totally new experience and journey. So i think i will need time to adapt to the surroundings? That's like obviously right? duh

I've been told to travel around Australia, apart from Melbourne, there's Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, TASMANIA !!, Gold Coast, Sdyney, Brisbane, Canberra, Victoria and the list goes on. I might visit my relative in Darwin, though it's at North Aus, like quite far away from Melb. I can actually save enough money and go on sight seeing. But it's pretty ironic to have to sit on domestic planes to get around, unlike Singapore. Their trams and trains can't take you anywhere further then it's town itself. BLEAH. Oh, did i mention Celestine is there too? And i heard that a few other Zhonghuarians ( seniors ) are there too, as in in Trinity College.

Actually, all these plans were made in a rush. My mom and i were like rushing through the procedures cause idp told us that the student visa needs time to be approved. I still have to go for Radiology and Medical Chkups this friday. Nvm, it'll mean another day off from work.

I'm off to practice my piano agn. Will blog again soon i hope? Till then, Tata!
